Innovative technologies like Tablet PC have a huge
potential in taking modern health care to the rural population, said
former President of India, Dr.A.P. J. Abdul Kalam here while participating in technology demonstration programme of Kalam-Raju
Tablet PC organized at Care Hospitals on 21st March Wednesday, the former President
said that the gadget would help medical personnel to reach-out to
millions dwelling in rural areas in the country.
“A
majority of the villages in the country do not have access to doctors
all the time. In this situation, a tablet PC capable of guiding medical
personnel on how to diagnose, identify symptoms and provide treatment to
patients will definitely help in better health delivery,” Dr. A.P.J.
Abdul Kalam said.
